The biggest mistake most people make when it comes to a diet is to focus their diet on weight loss rather than incorporating it into a lifestyle of healthy nutrition and sports nutrition. Ironically a word truly defined as the total, normal amount food an organism consumes became a word synonymous with reducing the intake of certain foods.

What these individuals need to keep in mind is that there is no miracle diet and no one method that will help you lose weight. Thankfully, the new trend in the industry is not to focus on the diet but rather healthy nutrition and sports nutrition. The key: keep it simple. Good balanced meals, a healthy dose of fruits and vegetables and exercise (even moderate) a few times a week is really all there is to it. For anything more, it's best to consult with a physician, nutritionist or trainer depending on if your issues are medical or physical. Healthy nutrition doesn't need to be a chore but rather an enjoyable part of a well-balanced healthy lifestyle.
