Being Overweight and Obese Carry a Cost to You, Your Family and Society.

Choosing a weight-loss program may be a difficult task. There is much to consider if you are considering a weight loss program. Program, being any weight-loss incentive taken on by an individual to shed unwanted pounds.
Weight-loss can be looked at from several view points. Weightloss consideration need to be made on the basis of amount of weigh to loose, condition of the person at the time and length of time the weight needs to come off. These consideration will determine the initiative to be taken. If the weight gain has gotten to the obesity level and immediate health is threatened then that is obviously a different situation than someone that has a few extra pounds to shed before summer vacation.

  • Loose Weight Using Surgery
  • Weight Loss by Taking Medications
  • Lose Weight By Herbal Remedies
  • Lose Weight The Natural Way
  • Natural Weight Loss
  • Weight Loss by Lifestyle Changes

Weight loss naturally or by lifestyle changes is the least expensive, the least invasive and will accomplish the desired results, which is permanent weight loss. "Feed a man a fish and you feed him for a day, show a man how to fish and you feed him life". Weightloss could be viewed with the same idea in mind. If I can show you that weight loss could be accomplished by lifestyle changes, weight loss by dietary changes, that it could be permanently maintained and that your overall health would dramatically increase and you receive and believe then not only do we change your life but possibly the life of someone that is overweight in your family or circle of friends. In this article we will look at the cost of being overweight both to your pocketbook and to your health. What it cost to those around you if you are over weight and the cost to society for you obesity. Obesity has a trickle down effect that is devastating not only to the obese person but to those around them.

The options are: Gastric bypass and stomach stapling.
Weight loss surgery is an operation which can involve anything from gastrointestinal surgery to stomach stapling (gastroplasty) to gastric bypasses (jejunoileal bypass). Other weight loss surgery options are stomach wrapping, jejunocolic bypass, truncal vagotomy and biliopancreatic diversion. Sound like viable options? They are if the situation is serious enough. The conditions: An obese person is classified as a person who weights more than 100b or double their ideal weight.

The upside: Improved health, quick weight loss, social adequacy, decreased cost to your pocket and reduced health problems associated with obesity.

The downside: Surgery is NOT as effective as other methods. Surgery should always be viewed as dangerous. 90% of all patients experience some side effect. Surgery is expensive. Weight loss surgery IS GENERALLY NOT A LOG TERM FIX, contrary to most people's thinking. You can see from the downside that measures should be taken to lose weight before the situation gets to the point of being dangerous and life-threatening.

So, what's next? Pills for weight-loss, herbal weight loss remedies? Hoodia, Phentermine, Xenical, Bontril, Meridia and others. Do you really want to go there? All of these are "feeding you fish" and not "teaching you how to fish".

A Responsible and Safe Weight-loss Program.
